I’ve had terrible bosses. I mean, I could write a whole separate book just on my experiences with them. But as bad as they’ve been in the past, I really kind of have to thank them, in a sense, because they taught me exactly what NOT to do in a management role. It’s tough to go to work every day when your boss totally sucks. I mean, who wants to go to work and be constantly screamed at and made to feel inferior? Not me, that’s for sure. Who wants to work for a boss that forces you to work until 7pm every day and makes you come in on Saturdays? Nope, I’m not about that life. But if you can’t just get up and leave, you might as well make the best of it, and in this case, it’s learning what not to do.
